When we started the URBACT CALL Accessible Cities for ALL journey, I wanted our reporting to become more than just another project deliverable. I wanted it to become a story of our shared learning journey.

Therefrore, I decided to transform the quarterly journals intoTravel & Journals! Instead of producing another conventional quarterly report, I imagined a travel diary: the kind we used to keep after every memorable trip. So, I introduced a Polaroid camera and a notebook, inviting each partner to capture not only where we had been, but also what they would take home.

I asked them to share their takeaways, their “aha!” moments, and the ideas they wanted to bring back to their URBACT Local Groups. Those handwritten reflections, together with the Polaroid snapshots, became the heart of our Travel & Transfer Journal.
